The Viking from Mega combines the latest thinking in sea kayak design and performance with the highest levels of manufacturing quality. At a length of 5.3m and a beam of 57cm the Viking is both a stable and dry kayak in the most difficult of conditions and when the going is good it's fast ... Possibly the fastest "do anything Sea kayak" out there!
Provision is made just in front of the cockpit for a variety of accessories, Day Hatch, Compass.
Fitted out as standard to a very high specification the Viking comes with recessed deck fittings which retain for and aft deck lines as well as 3 positions of shock cord for additional deck stowage. Paddler comfort is paramount in a sea kayak and this is taken care of admirably by the heavily padded foam seat and back strap. There is also a fully retractable skeg.The cockpit at width makes for easy entry. The large Kajaksport hatches front and rear make loading for extended trips a painless operation.
